Plockton Thatched Cottage offers wonderful self catering accommodation in the charming village of Plockton. Our truly unique cottage in Wester Ross is only a short walk from the hotels, eateries and stunning scenery.
Our delightful cottage is great for short and longer breaks. The cottage sleeps up to 2 people, ideal for a romantic break in a peaceful setting.
This tastefully furnished cottage has a open plan living sleeping area with a double bed, two armchairs and dining table and chairs. It also has a TV with DVD player and a coal effect electric stove for the winter months. the galley style kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, a two-ring ceramic hob, combination microwave/conventional oven and a washer dryer for laundry. The shower room has a walk-in electric shower, WC, wash hand basin and a heated towel rail.
Outside there is a back garden which is shared with the main house, plus a private loch-side garden with further seating. Both spaces are ideal for a morning coffee whilst savouring your surroundings.
The picturesque village of Plockton is a beautiful place to explore, home to a wonderful harbour and stunning scenery. We are set in the heart of the village close to the Loch at the point of Rhu. It can be accessed by road from Harbour Street or by a short walk across a little causeway from the centre of the village. Nearby there is an abundance of sporting activities, including golfing, fishing, riding, climbing, hill-walking, mountain biking and bowling. Scenic walks can be enjoyed directly from the properties and a variety of beautiful beaches are nearby. Further attractions to visit include:
