About Post Office Flat
The holiday flat has its own private entrance at road level.There is a single bedroom, twin bedroom and a double bedroom, making this an ideal base for a family holiday. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances you may need during your stay. There is a large dining/lounge area that is a homely place to return to at the end of each day.
It is fully centrally heated and double glazed with a solid fuel fire in the lounge. Parking is by the door. The fully enclosed private garden is fitted with a washing line.
Visiting Talmine & Exploring Sutherland
Talmine is a small crafting community at the mouth of the Kyle of Tongue. The area is suitable for hill walking, bird watching and fishing. It is a short walk from the nearest beautiful sandy beaches and coastal path.We are situated within easy reach of daytrips to Lochinver in the west and John O’ Groats in the east. Some more ambitious guests have done the trip to Orkney, which means a fairly early start. Boat trips to the Islands can be arranged where several seals and seabirds ca be seen at close proximity, water sports, swimming pool and fitness suite are all within easy reach of Talmine.
