Buxhall Country Glamping offers outstanding accommodation on the outskirts of Buxhall. Our site near Stowmarket is nestled in a tranquil Meadow in glorious countryside, perfect for an unforgettable holiday in Suffolk.

Accommodation

We have yurts and pods to choose from, offering a back-to-nature experience with home comforts. Tea bags, coffee, sugar and milk are provided.

Pods

Our pods have been designed by local craftsmen and are fully insulated. Each pod sleeps 2 adults and 2 children. There is a king-size bed that slides away into a daybed, with all bedding and towels included.

Facilities include a mini kitchen with running water, a full-size fridge with icebox, kettle, toaster, combi oven/microwave, crockery, cutlery and glasses. A folding table, 4 chairs and a BBQ are perfect for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.

Yurts

Our traditional Mongolian yurts, Bertie and Gertie, both have several layers for wind resistance and rain, perfect for the British weather. They each have a clear roof centre for gazing at the starry night sky.

The yurts each sleep up to 6 people. Both come with a double or king-size bed, plus a day bed with a trundle bed underneath that can be made as a king-size bed or 2 singles. A floor mattress and a fold-out camp bed is available for children. Please bring sleeping bags or duvets for the camp bed and floor mattress. The beds all come with bedding.

Our yurts come with a range of facilities, including a combination microwave/grill/oven, full-size fridge, kettle, 4-slice toaster plus crockery, cutlery, glasses & tumblers for up to 6 people. Outside each yurt, we have a washing-up sink and there is a folding table and 4 chairs for dining. You can dine al fresco on the decking and there is a BBQ.

Onsite we have The PeedPod which houses our toilet and shower block. We also have a firepit to huddle around late into the evening.

Visting Buxhall & Exploring Suffolk

Our site is ideal for enjoying the Suffolk countryside, great for walking and cycling. Fishing and a children’s playground are available nearby. You can visit Southwold, home to a pier, lighthouse, Adnams beer and beach huts. Only 20 minutes from us are Lavenham and Bury St Edmunds. London and the Norfolk coast are around 2 hours away. Attractions to visit include:

Framlingham Castle.
Stowmarket Golf Club.
Saxtead Green Post Mill.
Jimmy's Farm.
Mid-Suffolk Light Railway.
