Flint Cottage is a tastefully decorated and well appointed holiday home that can be found in the lovely village of Wenhaston, near Halesworth in Suffolk. The holiday cottage can sleep up to two people and is a lovely base from which to explore the surrounding area.
Our four-star holiday home is an ideal retreat for a couples break away, single people, walkers, music lovers and bird watchers. There is a large double bedroom upstairs along with an adjoining bathroom. some guests may find the stairs to the upstairs bedroom and bathroom more steep than they are used to and there is a short spiral staircase with a low entrance way.
On the ground floor of the holiday cottage is a well-equipped kitchen that includes a built-in oven, hotplate, microwave, dishwasher and large fridge with a separate freezer. The kitchen leads on to the dining room which is a lovely light room.
When the weather is nice guests can also enjoy the very private east facing garden. This is a lovely place to relax with a morning coffee.
A single, well-behaved dog is welcome at the holiday cottage by prior arrangement.
The village of Wenhaston is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near Halesworth, just inland from Southwold Dunwich and Walberswick. It is the starting point for numerous walks along the coast or inland along the River Blyth Halesworth and Blythburgh and is convenient for music lovers attending the Latitude Festival at Henham Hall and the Aldeburgh Festival. The Star and Queens Head both just a few minutes walk from the cottage, serve home-cooked meals.
