Although it has the charm of a country cottage, the house feels spacious, with large, light bedrooms and plenty of room for families or groups of adults. Upstairs, the property can sleep up to seven guests across two large double bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and one with a double bed, with the option to add up to three single beds depending on occupancy requirements; these single beds are suitable for both adults and children, and additional arrangements may be possible on request.
Manor Farm Barn offers a peaceful, private and spacious one-bedroom renovated barn conversion with its own entrance and views over a private garden, creating a relaxing countryside retreat. The open-plan living space includes a well-equipped, good-sized kitchen suited to home-style cooking and baking, a dining table, dishwasher, well-stocked tea and coffee facilities and a comfortable sitting area with digital TV. Hardwood flooring with underfloor heating runs throughout, with controls inside the property so you can set the temperature to your liking, while two large skylight windows fill the space with natural light and give it a bright, airy feel. A comfortable sofa bed can also be prepared on request. The bedroom features a good-sized premium double bed, towels, bedside tables with lamps and power points and a wardrobe with a full-length mirror, while the large, light bathroom includes a walk-in shower along with a new sink and fittings. Guests also have access to a private outdoor garden area to enjoy.
Set in two acres of countryside at the crossroads of Somerset, Devon and Dorset, this peaceful and spacious 16th-century five-bedroom farmhouse offers a characterful rural escape. Guests enjoy exclusive use of the gardens, swimming pool, sauna and hot tub. Sleeping up to 14 guests across five bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, the house features generous living space including a large kitchen, living room, sunroom or family room and dining room, while outside there is a natural swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, courtyard dining areas, fire pit, outdoor log burner, large gas BBQ and extensive garden, making it ideal for gatherings of family, friends or colleagues.
We are an ideal base for exploring the surrounding countryside and coast, with plenty to see and do nearby. Visit the beautiful Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for walking and scenic drives, explore the historic Forde Abbey and Gardens, or head to the seaside at Lyme Regis and the Jurassic Coast, famous for fossils and dramatic cliffs.
