Conveniently located in Oven Wynd (off Bridge Street) right in the centre of Kelso - just a few steps away from all the amenities offered by this picturesque market town and casting distance from the Tweed. As the property is located in the centre of Kelso there is a possibility of some street noise at the weekends.

About The Old Pickle House

A secure gate from Oven Wynd leads into the entrance hall, offering coat hanging space and access to a utility room with washer/dryer. Additionally, there is a separate bathroom with a walk-in shower. Ascend the stairs to the spacious first-floor living area, featuring a large circular dining table surrounded by upholstered seating and a central light fixture. A comfortable L-shaped sofa and wall-mounted TV create a fantastic space for gatherings with family or friends. This room also includes a cupboard with a pull-out double bed. Adjacent to the dining area is a modern, well-equipped kitchen.

A second staircase from the first-floor hallway leads to the second-floor hallway, where you'll find three bedrooms. One bedroom is furnished with twin beds, another with a king-size double bed and the third with a small double bed. All bedrooms are equipped with vanity units. The house bathroom on this floor boasts a bath, separate shower, and striking feature stone walls.

Visiting Kelso & Exploring the Scottish Borders

Kelso, with its cobbled streets, is arguably the most attractive Border town. Situated next to the Tweed the town is a Mecca for fishermen. Relax in the town and browse around the traditional and boutique shops. There are plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Attractions include the majestic Floors Castle and Kelso Racecourse. Springwood Park is the home of the Border Union Show and hosts many other events including dog shows, ram sales and fishing fair. All are within walking distance of our property.
