Willowherb & Foxglove Cottage are located on a working farm just outside the village of Harwick in Roxburghshire and our self catering holiday cottages that can sleep up to 6 people. There is a little stream that runs outside the front of the holiday home and breath taking panoramic views of the surrounding hills and grazing cattle.
Willowherb Cottage combines charming original features with modern comforts. Downstairs, the cottage offers a cosy sitting/dining room with a log stove and TV, a well-equipped kitchen/larder with an electric cooker, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer, a small room with a double bed, and a bathroom with a shower, toilet and underfloor heating. Upstairs, there is a spacious room with a double bed (cot available on request) and a smaller bedroom with twin beds. Duvets and blankets are provided, but guests are asked to bring their own sheets and towels. Outside, the enclosed garden features rustic picnic facilities and a barbecue, perfect for outdoor relaxation.
Foxglove Cottage offers a spacious and airy sitting room and a kitchen that opens directly into the garden, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor flow. Upstairs, a generously sized bathroom features a shower over the bath, while the small double bedroom overlooks the garden and the master bedroom, with its king-size bed, boasts views of the hills dotted with grazing sheep and cattle. Downstairs, a small box room with a sofa bed provides a cosy space for a child or teenager. Guests can step straight into the hills from the front door for a countryside adventure or unwind on the patio with a coffee or glass of wine while enjoying the charming cottage garden.
Our holiday cottages are on our 400 acre farm where we have sheep, cats, dogs and geese and a horse or you might well see red squirrels, rabbits, hares, herons, buzzards and badgers. Ideally situated, our self catering cottages are only 1 mile from the centre of Hawick where there are shops and restaurants.
