The Sidings provides self catering accommodation on the outskirts of Plockton, based in a great location. Our property in Ross-Shire is a short walk from the village and lots of local facilities, including, pubs, shops, restaurants and a beach.
Accommodation
We offer accommodation for up to 6 people in this large and modern cottage. The property is well-equipped and finished to a high standard.We have a cosy living area with seating, a TV and a reclaimed Victorian fireplace with a fire for the chilly months. A welcome basket of bread, milk, butter, a bottle of wine, biscuits, shortbread, crisps, fresh coffee, local jam and oatcakes is provided. The spacious dining/kitchen area is well-equipped. There are 3 bedrooms.
The private garden is a real sun trap and perfect for al fresco dining in warmer months.
Visting Plockton & Exploring Ross-Shire
We are ideally located for walkers, with beautiful countryside with lots of trails surrounding the village. In the last week of July and the first week of August, the Plockton Small Boat Sailing annual regatta is held. The Plockton Inn and The Plockton Hotel are great for music or you can visit Eilean Donan Castle, one of Scotland’s most famous sites. Attractions to visit include:Balmacara Estate & Woodland Walks
