Tyn-y-Castell is a secluded chalet situated in the heart of Mid Wales, close to the picturesque Elan Valley. This peaceful escape is surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the Elan Valley reservoirs and ancient oak woodlands. Ideal for nature enthusiasts, the chalet provides direct access to walking trails, making it a perfect base for bird watchers, hikers and cyclists.

The accommodation features two bedrooms. The master bedroom is equipped with a comfortable double bed, while the second bedroom offers a king-size bed that can be converted into twin beds upon request. Additionally, there is a sofa bed in the sitting room, allowing the chalet to sleep up to six guests. The sitting room is designed to be both warm and inviting, with wood-panelled walls, large picture windows that reveal beautiful views and a door leading to the garden. It includes comfortable seating, a television, a phone with an honesty box and a bureau stocked with local maps and guides. A wood-burning stove adds a cosy ambiance, although the chalet is already well-heated with night storage and convector heaters. The kitchen and dining area are fully equipped for self-catering, with a fridge, cooker, microwave and an ample supply of cutlery and attractive crockery, making meal preparation easy and enjoyable. The bathroom features a wash basin, WC and a bath with an electric shower over it, providing all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. From the large picture windows and conservatory, guests can admire the beautiful scenery and watch the majestic Red Kites soaring above.
