Atom Crow Cottage is a comfortable, well-appointed accessible holiday cottage situated in a quiet location 10 minutes walk from the centre of Pitlochry - a little town in Perthshire known as the Gateway to the Highlands.
Sitting/Dining Room - dining table seating six and a comfortable suite. Smart TV and dvd player and a selection of dvds and cds. The side-board contains a variety of games, jigsaws, maps and books.
Kitchen - integrated gas hob and electric oven. Large fridge freezer, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and microwave oven.
Bedrooms - 3 bedrooms in total, each sleep 2 people and come complete with fitted wardrobes.
Bedroom 1 offers a king size double bed. Simply decorated but pretty, there are bed side cabinets with lamps at each side.
Bedroom 2 has a zip linked super-king sized bed which can be divided to make twin beds. This room is ideal for adults and children alike.
Bedroom 3 has a single bed with integrated truckle bed making this a single or a twin room.
There is an accessible garden with a hut containing garden furniture, which can be used to store golf clubs, bikes and childrens' equipment. There is a secure lock provided.
Located in the heart of Scotland, Pitlochry in Perthshire is the ideal holiday location for a huge variety of reasons. It has been a holiday destination for over 150 years and names Queen Victoria as one of its frequent visitors of years gone by. It is easily accessible by rail, aeroplane and car. There are 2 direct trains each day from/to London or it's within a 2 hours drive from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness airports. There are also good local train and bus services.
Pitlochry has shops and restaurants to meet all tastes, from supermarket for self-catering to stocking up on hand crafted winter woollies and from traditional highland fayre to hiring a bike. Golfers can enjoy the local 18-hole golf course (par 69).
There are excellent walks to suit a variety of abilities, either hillside or along a fascinating stretch of the River Tummel. Visit the salmon ladder, hydraulic dam and the Recreation Ground where weekly summer cultural events are held including pipe bands and Highland and Scottish dancing.
