Kingham Cottages offers luxurious self catering accommodation in the charming village of Kingham. Our collection of cottages are nestled within the gorgeous grounds of Kingham Lodge in Oxfordshire.

Accommodation

All our properties offer timeless interiors combined with modern facilities for a relaxing stay. The property included FreeSat TV. Within the grounds, we have an indoor heated pool, a Hamman (a Turkish steam bath), a tennis court and 5 acres of gardens.

Ryeworth Cottage

Our large cottage is attached to Kite’s Gate and great for families. The cottage sleeps up to 6 people. Bedrooms consist of a four-poster double en suite, a twin room, a twin ensuite room and a twin room with zip and link beds that can be made as doubles. On the first floor there is also a family bathroom.

The spacious open plan ground floor includes comfy sofas, an extendable dining table and French windows that open onto a terrace with a four-door Aga. The well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances. There is a downstairs loo and a multipurpose basement including a flat-screen TV, sofas and a doll’s house for children. There is also a kitchenette. Outside there is a rear terrace with seating with a table and chairs and a large BBQ.

The Old Coach house

This fully restored former coach house is fully restored and sleeps up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms. Bedrooms consist of a master en suite with a double brass bedstead and 3 twin rooms (1 en suite). A family bathroom comes with a shower over the bath.

On the ground floor is a spacious kitchen with a range of appliances and a dining table. The living/dining room has an open fireplace and doors that open to the private garden. There are tables and chairs and a Weber BBQ for al fresco dining. Off the living room is a separate study/reading room. The outside terrace has a table and chairs and a large private garden.

Kite’s Gate

Our cottage mixes traditional craftsmanship with modern facilities. The property is attached to Ryeworth and perfect for families holidaying with each other. The cottage sleeps 6 people in 1 master four-poster en suite, 1 twin room, 1 twin en suite and 1 twin with a zip and link bed that can be made as a double. On the first floor, there is a family bathroom.

The open plan ground floor has comfy seating, a FreeSat TV and a dining table. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances. Outside there is a terrace with a table and chairs and a Weber BBQ.

Berry Pen Cottage

This property was once the stabling and groom’s quarter of Kingham Lodge and now offers modern accommodation. The cottage sleeps 6 people in 3 en suite bedrooms, including 1 ground-floor room with a large shower room for people with disabilities. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with a super king en suite and a second with zip and link brass beds and en suite facilities.

The spacious open plan living area has comfy seating and an open fire. The dining table seats 16 people and the kitchen is fully-equipped. Outside there is a south-facing garden with a terrace.

Lodge Cottage

Our cottage offers lots of character and some parts are 300 years old. The cottage sleeps 4 in 1 double four poster en suite and 1 twin with zip and link beds. There is a family bathroom.

On the ground floor is an open fireplace, comfy seating and French windows. The kitchen is fully-equipped and there is a south-facing conservatory to unwind in. The sitting room has seating, a log fire and flat-screen TV. Outside there is a south-facing garden with a terrace.

The Loft

This loft apartment is reached via an external stone staircase and features arts and crafts period furniture. The apartment sleeps 4 in 1 double and 1 twin with a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and double-ended bath. Across the hall from the double is a spacious shower room and the twin can be made as a double and 2 further single beds can be provided.

We have an open plan living area with a dining table and chairs, comfy seating and FreeSat TV. Glass double doors open to the Juliet balcony and glazed cupola over the dining area.

Visting Kingham & Exploring Oxfordshire

In the village there are two award-winning pubs, The Kingham Plough and The Wild Rabbit. Only a 20-minute walk away is the Daylesford Organic farm shop and cafe. You can explore the Cotswold countryside and visit Chipping Norton, Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford. Attractions to visit include:
