Adjacent to this room is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, maintaining the rustic elegance with original beams and a stone fireplace. This cottage, with its capacity to sleep 7, is especially popular among families. It features two bedrooms: one double bedroom with an additional single bed and an en-suite bathroom and another with twin beds, also with an en-suite bathroom equipped with a bath and overhead shower. An additional mezzanine extension from the double bedroom offers twin cabin beds. From the sitting room, a door opens to the rear, leading to a patio equipped with a barbecue area. Beyond the patio lies a vast lawned area for play, providing access to the scenic lake and farmland that stretch out behind the property.Felbridge Cottage
Felbridge Cottage stands out as an appealing and unexpectedly roomy two-level self-catering abode. The ground floor unfolds into an expansive living space that combines a kitchen, dining area and living area, complete with a welcoming log-burning stove situated within a grand, stone-built fireplace. This charming cottage enjoys popularity for its atmosphere, drawing many guests back time and again. A porch opens to the west, facing Felbrook and a stairway ascends to the upper level, where you'll find the bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom, designed to accommodate 2 guests, features a large king-size bed equipped with a memory foam mattress, ensuring supreme comfort.Local Area
Gibbs Hill an ideal centre to explore the magnificent World Heritage Site, Hadrians Wall, with close proximity to the main Roman sites of Housesteads, Vindolanda and the Roman Army Museum. Towards the Northern boundary there is an ancient stone circle, thought to be an early bronze age burial site, which has been scheduled as an ancient monument by English Heritage. This site is worth the walk, not only for its historical interest, but also for the views it offers. There is also access, via Gibbs Hill land, to a specially created boardwalk and bird watching hide on the nearby Greenlee Lough nature reserve.For more information please visit our website.
