Wood House Holiday Cottages & Lodges provides fantastic self catering accommodation in Snods Edge, set in a picturesque countryside location. All the properties can be booked together to sleep up to 12 people. We are ideal for an idyllic holiday in Northumberland.

The Old Stables at Wood House

Our ground-level cottage sleeps up to 6 people and comes with a spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area which opens to a sunroom. There is a log burner and a large Rangemaster cooker. Bedrooms consist of 1 super king bed with an en suite walk-in shower, 1 double bed with an en suite including a roll top bath and 1 twin room with a bath and shower over en suite. Outside there is a rear patio garden, perfect for a glass of wine in the evening sun.

The Cottage at Wood House

This cottage sleeps up to 2 people and comes with a living room that includes a fireplace with a gas fire. The bedroom is reached via four small stairs and comes with a king-size bed and an en suite shower room. Outside there is a patio/garden area and a shared courtyard with The Old Stables.

Fox Lodge at Wood House

Our lodge sleeps up to 2 people and comes with an open plan living/dining/kitchen and bedroom area. The lodge comes with lovely furnishings and a smart TV. Large patio doors open to the decked area including a fire pit and a wood-fired hot tub to soak yourself in. The lodge enjoys countryside views.

Pheasant Lodge at Wood House

This brand-new lodge sleeps 2 people and has an open plan living/dining/kitchen and bedroom area. The lodge offers charming furnishings and includes a smart TV. Patio doors open to a decked area with a fire pit and wood-fired hot tub to relax in. This is a great spot to unwind with a morning coffee whilst savouring the views.

Onsite we have a tennis court and play area.

Visting Snods Edge & Exploring Northumberland

We are near the Roman town of Corbridge, home to coffee shops, boutique shops and a riverside walk. Only a few miles from us is the Terris Novalis. You can enjoy the walking routes around the town of Consett or cycle the coast-to-coast cycle route. Attractions to visit include:

Hadrian's Wall.
Hexham Abbey.
Hownsgill Viaduct.
Derwent Reservoir.
Discovery Museum.
