Summary

Boulmer Holiday Cottages provides wonderful self catering accommodation in the charming village of Boulmer. We are based on Northumberland’s coast and close to Alnwick, making us a great base for exploring the area.

Accommodation

We have 2 cottages to choose from, Curlew Cottage and Top View Cottage. Both are tastefully furnished and equipped to a high standard. All electricity, oil central heating, bed linen & towels are included in the rent.

Curlew Cottage

Our cottage sleeps up to 4 people in 1 double and 1 room with 2 singles. The main bathroom has a walk-in wet room with an electric shower and WC. A separate cloakroom has a WC.

After a day sightseeing, unwind in the open plan living/dining area or the conservatory. The latter offers sea views. Facilities include satellite TV. A well-equipped kitchen comes with an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer & microwave.

Outside we have a lawned garden with a decking area including furniture, perfect for a coffee whilst enjoying the beach views. The outbuilding houses a washing machine.

Top View Cottage

We offer accommodation for up to 3 people in a ground floor double room and a bedroom with 1 single and a cot. The rooms share a shower/wet room with a double shower cubicle and WC.

Updates we have an open plan living area that offers sea views, seating and satellite TV. The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge, plus a breakfast bar. A cloakroom has a WC.

Outside we have a garden with a patio and garden furniture, great for al fresco dining over a glass or two.

Visting Boulmer & Exploring Northumberland

Only a couple of hundred yards from us is Boulmer Beach. A short stroll will take you to the beaches of Sugar Sands and Howdiemont. You can visit the nearby town of Alnwick, famous for Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Garden. Every month there is the Alnwick Farmers Market, offering cakes, artisan breads, Northumbrian meats and fish. Attractions to visit include:

Bailiffgate Museum.
Dunstanburgh Castle.
Alnmouth Beach.
Warkworth Castle.
National Trust – Cragside.
