Budle Bay Croft provides 5-star accommodation for all the family in the hamlet of Waren Mill, Northumberland. The coastal town of Bamburgh is a short drive away, famous for its castle and coastline. The 2 cottages are finished to a high standard, providing a relaxed holiday in a gorgeous location.

Accommodation

Our accommodation is based on a wonderful smallholding of several acres, offering a truly stunning coastal location at Budle Bay. Both our cottages are beautifully equipped and offer a true home-from-home.

Budle Haugh

The first property can accommodate 4 in a king-size and twin bedroom. Both bedrooms include a TV and share a bathroom with a separate double shower cubicle and huge deluge shower head.

The living space is open plan and comes with a toasty wood burner, flat-screen smart TV, iPad and PS4. A well-equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking up a storm and comes with a range of appliances. Outside is an enclosed private walled garden with a BBQ area for al fresco dining in the summer months.

Budle Falls

Budle Falls can sleep 4 in a king-size room and a bunk room. The property boasts wonderful features, such as vaulted ceilings and exposed timbers throughout. Like Budle Haugh, the living space is open plan and comes with a log burner, flat-screen TV with Netflix and PS4. A well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances for cooking some delicious meals.

The cottage has two private gardens, including a delightful children’s summer house equipped as a shop with outside toys, a BBQ and an outdoor log burner. Additionally, there are 2 patio tables and chairs, great for enjoying a glass of wine whilst watching children play in the rear garden.

While staying with us children will love the animal interactions and egg collection. The whole family can enjoy exploring the woodland and meadow, plus relaxing in front of the tranquil waterfall.

Two shakes

We offer unique accommodation in our quirky shepherds hut. This luxurious hut is cosy and offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Inside there is a king-size bedroom, shower room, galley kitchen and a lounge area with a TV and log burning stove. Outside there is a fully enclosed proof fenced garden with a dining table and chairs, garden swing, BBQ and fire pit.

Visiting Waren Mill & Exploring Northumberland

The hamlet of Waren Mill is a brilliant base for discovering a range of great attractions in Northumberland. Visit one of its award-winning beaches or visit a majestic castle, such as Lindisfarne Castle, just a short drive from Budle Bay Croft. The Cheviot Hills are great for walkers and a visit to Hadrian’s Wall is a must for history lovers. Further attractions to visit include:

From 1 night in the Shepherds Hut. When staying Monday to Friday, the Thursday night is free.
