Bankhill Cottage offers delightful self catering accommodation in the beautiful border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Our stylish property dates from 1906 and has been beautifully renovated to offer quality accommodation in Northumberland. We are close to the shops, bars, restaurants, theatre, beaches, castles and golf courses. The coastline is stunning and inland you can meander across the Scottish border towns.
Accommodation
This unique cottage cottage comfortably sleeps four people, great for a family or two couples. The cottage boasts modern furnishings and a range of facilities to suit all your needs.There is a spacious open plan living/dining area and a galley kitchen. There is a wood burner for cosy evenings and you can watch your favourite show in front of the TV/DVD player. A well-equipped kitchen has a four-ring gas stove, oven, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, microwave & washing machine.
Two attractive bedrooms are available: one twin and one double. Both rooms have en suite bath/shower rooms, clothes hanging space and hairdryers. A cot and Z bed for children is available.
To the side of the cottage is gravelled area with space for one car. A parking permit for others streets in the area is also available.

Berwick-upon-Tweed is steeped in history and is surrounded by the best-preserved fortifications in Europe and a walk around the walls shows the stunning coastline, architecture and historic remains.In Berwick there is golf, swimming, walking, tennis and biking, but it is ideally placed to visit the Northumbrian coastline, Bamburgh castle, Alnwick castle (of Harry Potter fame) Holy Island and the Farne Islands.
