Uniquely original, within a stunning courtyard setting, they offer all the comforts you'll need for the perfect Yorkshire Dales short break holiday. They both have stunning views of the nearby Grade I Listed Hornby Castle and from their Juliet balconies have far reaching rural views toward both the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks, and they both overlook the newly designed courtyard garden. Both Cottages have their own wood-fired hot tubs for your exclusive use!

In times gone by, these listed cottages were used by the gardener and as a Dove Cote. These days they sleep two people in modern and contemporary comfort and have a cleverly designed layout with everything that two people could want for a romantic or relaxing short break.

The Dove Cote:

At the Dove Cote, the emphasis is on quality, privacy and relaxation…Crisp cotton sheets, preparing breakfast in a lovely hand-built kitchen, and relaxing with a cup of tea gazing over the fields towards the medieval castle at Hornby… now that’s what getting away from it all is all about.

Visiting Bedale & Exploring North Yorkshire

Arbour Hill is set on the outskirts of a pretty village in Wensleydale, between the market towns of Bedale and Leyburn, the village itself is very pretty; old stone cottages very typical of the Yorkshire Dales, a babbling beck with wild trout, and lovely country pubs close by.

We're perfectly situated for a Dales Short Break and are also ideally placed to visit York, Harrogate, Leeds and the Yorkshire coast. Nearby attractions include:
