About The Fold

When staying at The Fold, you will find that it has beautifully appointed throughout, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay is had by all. It is 100% ground floor living which after a day exploring the dales, is a welcome treat to return too!

The main living area comprises of a large living space with comfortable sofas and dining area, plus the newly fitted kitchen has everything you could wish for on a holiday break. Don't worry if you get muddy on your travels, there is a washer/dryer to help sort any wet socks!

Outside of The Fold is a patio garden with table & chairs as well as a charcoal BBQ. This is a lovely spot from which to enjoy your morning brew or something stronger at the end of the day.

Visiting Leyburn & Exploring North Yorkshire

Leyburn is a charming town and home to a variety of places to wine and dine. For those passionate about gin, you will be please to know that Leyburn is home to Taplin & Mageean Spirit Co, where you can take a tour around the distillery and taste the gin! Alternatively, if a beer is more your thing, then a visit to Wensleydale Brewery is a must.

Being nestled in the Yorkshire Dales means that you are blessed with an abundance of open countryside which can be explored on foot or by wheels. On those days when you want to enjoy local activities, you will find plenty of opportunities for gorge walking, caving, climbing, potholing, paragliding, squash and golf, plus the list goes on.
