Accommodation

Our gorgeous house is reportedly the oldest property in the village, with the oldest part still retaining its charming, original features. The property blends old and new seamlessly, offering a modern glass-roofed extension that includes a spacious open plan kitchen and sitting room. The house is elegantly furnished throughout and sleeps up to 6 people, ideal for a family or group getaway.

Downstairs the focal point of the house is the conservatory kitchen/main sitting room. Boasting a pitched glass, conservatory roof with remote-controlled openers, the well-equipped kitchen by Thompson’s of York in Carrara marble and Bird’s Eye walnut includes a range of appliances to suit all your needs. Two further sitting rooms are available. The little green sitting room has a TV and DVD player and The Little red sitting room acts as an office. The ground floor also has a utility room which leads to a downstairs WC.

Upstairs there are four beautiful bedrooms: a king en suite, double, twin and a fourth room with space for a cot or an additional mattress on the floor. All bed linen and towels are provided. The double and twin rooms share a bathroom which has a bath including a handheld shower attachment and WC.

Outside there is a fabulous walled garden with seating. This is a lovely space to relax with a glass of wine on a warm summer’ afternoon.
