Accommodation
Designed entirely on the ground floor, this charming barn conversion has been crafted to the highest standards, combining modern comforts with the surrounding landscape's serenity. Inside, the light and airy lounge welcomes guests with large picture-frame windows and doors that frame breathtaking views of the river and its abundant wildlife.The cottage offers an open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area, all designed with comfort and convenience in mind. It features one spacious bedroom with a luxurious king-size bed and a shower room with a large, stylish shower, vanity unit and WC. A complimentary welcome pack greets guests upon arrival and the fully equipped kitchen includes an electric cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave, with a washing machine also available. For entertainment, there is a TV in both the lounge and bedroom, complete with a DVD player and internet access. Heating is provided by gas central heating and a wood-burning stove, with a starter pack of fuel and the first basket of wood included. Fresh bed linen and towels are included in the stay.
Outside, the cottage has a private patio and lawn furnished with outdoor furniture, a hot tub, fire pit and a BBQ. Guests can enjoy tranquil moments beside the scenic ponds and river within the grounds There is ample off-road parking available. A games room offers additional enjoyment, featuring a full-size pool table, dartboard and various games for outdoor use.
Guests are welcome to explore the farm’s expansive nine-acre grounds, which lead down to the riverfront, creating a picturesque setting for leisurely walks and nature appreciation.

A short drive brings you to the beautiful coastal towns of Southwold, Walberswick, and Aldeburgh, while the nearby market towns of Bungay, Beccles and Halesworth offer local charm and convenience. The region’s heritage coast, including the RSPB flagship reserve at Minsmere and the historic town of Dunwich, is also within easy reach. For those looking to venture further, the city of Norwich is less than an hour away, offering a wealth of cultural and historical experiences.Adjacent to River Farm is the Wetland Centre, where guests can encounter rare breed animals, such as Suffolk Punch horses and tame fallow deer, in a peaceful setting that is free to enter.
