Foxton Locks Lodges is an idyllic retreat tucked away in the heart of rural Leicestershire. Our superb lodges are situated in the lovely village of Foxton and just a short drive away from the lovely town of Market Harborough.

Fox's Den Lodge

Fox’s Den is a beautifully appointed two bedroom log cabin, finished to the highest of standards and boasts many individual features. The cabin comfortably sleeps four, with a double room and a twin room. Fox’s Den is suitable for a family, a group of friends or even a couple looking for a romantic getaway.

The cabin has a large open plan sitting room and modern kitchen fitted out with top quality fixtures and fittings. The sitting and dining area has high end furnishings perfect for cooking, dining and relaxing together. Added extras include a flat screen TV, DVD player and an iPod docking station The cabin has central heating and a gas burner in the sitting room for that extra cosy factor. There’s also a variety of books and board games to keep everybody entertained on those rainy days.

The dining area has double doors leading out to a south west facing veranda with stunning views of the local countryside. On the decking area you’ll have your own dining area and private outdoor hot tub – the ultimate in luxury and the perfect way to watch the sunset in the evening.

The bedrooms are both designed with comfort in mind. We know the key ingredients for a good night’s sleep are comfortable beds, powerful showers and luxurious bed linen and all towels, bed linen and fluffy toweling robes are provided at no extra cost. There are also flat screen TVs in both bedrooms. There is an en suite bathroom with a wonderful power shower and a family bathroom with a luxurious free standing bath to help you relax and unwind.

Badger's Set

Badger’s Set provides the ultimate in relaxation and luxury. This one bedroom cabin is perfect for that romantic country retreat. There is a fully fitted, open plan kitchen area with its very own SMEG fridge, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The sitting area is finished with high quality furnishings with a gas burner and your own flat screen TV, DVD player and ipod docking station for you to use at your leisure.

The stunning bedroom is designed with style and comfort in mind and has a large double sleigh bed with all luxury bed linen, towels and toweling robes provided at no extra charge. The bedroom has a large en suite with its own stand alone bath and separate power shower. The bathroom is finished to the highest of standards with quality being paramount.

The bedroom and sitting room both have double doors that lead on to the south west facing veranda. There you‘ll find your own private dining area and luxurious private hot tub for you to unwind from the stresses of everyday life and watch the sunset over the beautiful countryside.

We’re convinced that a stay in Badger’s Set is the perfect sanctuary that will leave you feeling relaxed and comfortable from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave.

Squirrel’s Drey

Has two luxurious en suite bedrooms, its huge south west facing decking area and private hot tub with spectacular countryside views, it’s the perfect spot for some pure indulgence and relaxation.

The large open plan kitchen, dining area and living room are bookended by the two bedrooms, giving guests plenty of space and making Squirrel’s Drey perfect for couples, friends and families. It’s kitted out with all the mod cons and luxuries you’d expect from Foxton Locks Lodges, including a SMEG fridge/freezer, flat screen TV, DVD player and iPod docking station.

The dining table looks out onto the large decking area, which runs the whole length of the cabin and has uninterrupted views of the beautiful Leicestershire countryside. It really is the most idyllic spot for a spot of sunbathing or an evening sundowner with a glass of fizz in the private hot tub.

Our large en suite bedrooms are individually designed and offer the ultimate in comfort and style. One has a king size bed and the other can either be a super king or two twin beds depending on your preference. As well as their stunning views, you can enjoy the absurdly comfy beds and luxury linen. Both en suites have free standing, roll top baths, twin basins and huge walk in showers, along with fluffy towels and bathrobes and luxurious toiletries.

Otter's Holt

This wonderful cabin that can sleep 4 in a king size and super king bedroom en suites. It has a deluxe living area with a dining table and modern kitchen. The cosy living area comes with a flat screen digital TV with DVD player and an iPod docking station.

The two modern en suite bathrooms come with large walk-in power showers as well as huge baths. Outside there is a large deck with hot tub and BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.

Pheasants Roost

This is one of our newest cabins, finished to a luxurious standard for a memorable holiday in the country. Inside there is a traditional kitchen which is well-equipped with a range of including Smeg appliances.

Each bedroom comes with a wall mounted TV and the en suite bathroom is finished to the highest standards. A cosy living area comes with a flat screen TV, DVD player, iPod docking station and comfy seating. Outside there is a large decking area and a secluded grass area with garden furniture for al fresco dining. You can soak away your troubles in the hot tub.

Owl’s Nest

This is also one of our newest cabins, offering everything you need for a special getaway. Each bedroom comes with a wall mounted TV and the en suite bathroom ifs finished to the highest standards.

A cosy living area comes with a flat screen TV, DVD player, iPod docking station and coffee seating. a traditional kitchen is well-equipped with a range of Smeg appliances. Outside there is a large decking area and a secluded grass area with garden furniture for al fresco dining. You can soak away your troubles in the hot tub.

Shepherd Huts

We also have two charming shepherd huts to stay in, Bluebell and Snowdrop. Each hut sleeps 2 and boasts a hot tub to soak yourself in. Each hut comes with a small kitchen, a large king size bed with luxury bed linen, towels and towelling robes provided at no extra charge. An en suite shower room is also available. Outside there is a BBQ and a firepit.

Visiting Foxton & Exploring Leicestershire

Our stunning log cabins are available to rent all year round for short breaks and summer and winter holidays and are the perfect alternative to holiday cottages, combining excellent facilities, comfort and luxury with the tranquillity and beauty of our local countryside. Market Harborough is just a five minute car journey away, while the historic market towns of Oakham and Uppingham are just 20 minutes away.

Foxton Lock Restaurant nestled at the bottom of the famous staircase of 10 locks on the Grand Union Canal, this picturesque inn is the perfect place to enjoy a pint and some excellent food, whilst exploring the history and beauty of the Foxton Locks country park. Open all day, everyday , you can pop in for a pot of tea or a pint of award winning real ale, there are 6 to choose from or enjoy a leisurely lunch on the heated waterside terrace.

Dinner can be a romantic occasion with a pretty view of the softly lit canal and warm hospitality provided by the friendly staff. A great family pub Foxton Locks Inn is child friendly complete with baby changing facilities and provides a separate children's menu.
