Situated in an excellent location just opposite the Bridge of Feugh on the outskirts of Banchory, this self catering lodge offers a warm and homely atmosphere. Thoughtfully furnished to create a home-from-home experience, it is designed to make your stay as relaxing as possible.
The lodge is all on one level, providing convenient and accessible accommodation. The living/dining room features a Smart TV, an electric fire and French doors leading to a patio, making it an inviting space to unwind. The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and washing machine. There are two cosy bedrooms: one with a double bed and another with two single beds, alongside a bathroom with a shower over the bath. Outside, the grounds feature garden furniture, electric car charging facilities and private parking for two cars. Please note, this is a non-smoking property.
Just across the road lies the spectacular Falls of Feugh, a breathtaking stretch of the River Dee. Here, you can witness salmon leaping up the rugged rocks as they journey to their spawning grounds. During autumn, the river often runs high, and you can sit in the living room listening to the soothing roar of the falls while enjoying a book or a drink—a truly marvelous experience.

Banchory itself boasts a variety of artisan shops, excellent dining options, and leisure activities such as tennis, golf, walking, cycling, and fishing. The Royal Deeside Railway, starting at the Milton of Crathes Station, offers scenic steam and diesel train rides along the original line from Aberdeen to Ballater, with stunning views of the River Dee and the surrounding hills.
Royal Deeside is also home to Castle Country, where you can explore Crathes Castle, a 16th-century fairy-tale-like structure just a short drive away. Further afield, the Lecht ski resorts provide a gateway to the renowned Whisky Trail around Glenlivet and Tomintoul, offering an opportunity for a memorable day trip through breathtaking landscapes. Whether you’re seeking relaxation or adventure, Toll Bridge Lodge is the perfect base to experience the charm and beauty of Royal Deeside.
