About Dove Court Apartments

Guests can choose from one of five apartments, styled to be calm and relaxing with comfortable furnishing throughout, with an abundance of light from the floor length double doors where you can step outside to your very own furnished terrace. So whether you are a solo traveller, couple, friends or family we can accommodate you. For larger groups, we will offer a discount on the total price when booking more than one apartment.

Ash Apartment

Sleeps up to 4 people (plus a baby). 2 bedrooms (double bed, twin beds) + cot. Ground floor. Wrap around furnished terrace where you can enjoy views to the south and west.

Bay Apartment

Sleeps up to 2 people (plus a baby). 1 bedroom (king) + cot. Ground floor. French doors lead from the living area to a South facing furnished terrace, with views towards Shanklin Down and the town.

Cedar Apartment

Sleeps up to 4 people (plus a baby). 2 bedrooms (double, twin/super king) + cot. First floor. South facing furnished roof terrace with views over the pretty town of Shanklin to the downs.

Elm Apartment

Sleeps up to 4 people (plus a baby). 2 bedrooms (king, twin) + cot. First floor. South facing furnished roof terrace with sea views.

Fir Apartment

Sleeps up to 2 people (plus a baby). 1 bedroom (king) + cot. Ground floor. French doors from both the lounge and bedroom leading to a furnished terrace.

The 1 bed apartments sleep 2 people in a double room with king size bed. The 2 bed apartments have one double and 1 twin room (Cedar has a choice of Twin or Super King). The 2 bed apartments each have an en suite bathroom off the double room and a separate family bathroom. There are 24” TVs in all of the bedrooms and all of the bathrooms are fitted with heated towel rails.

Each apartment has an open plan living/dining/kitchen area, with a reclining leather sofa, 40” TV and DVD, dining furniture, and fully fitted contemporary kitchen. The kitchens include electric oven and hob, microwave, full height fridge/freezer, dish washer, washer/dryer, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, and coffee pot. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout. 15% discount on your ferry travel and welcome pack on arrival. Designated Parking space with an EV Charging Station for guests, so you can charge your car while you enjoy your stay with us.

Visiting Shanklin & Exploring The Isle of Wight

Shanklin has all the charm of a traditional seaside holiday destination, its dramatic backdrop of sandstone cliffs, lines the south-east coast of the Island. The sweeping bay has one of the most stunning walks to take on the Island. Dotted with traditional seaside shops, amusements, beach huts, restaurants and cafes.
Popular destinations in Shanklin include:

Hope Beach – This is the main beach and has lovely golden sand and traditional entertainments.
Rylstone Gardens – A Victorian park with bandstand, pitch & putt, café and colourful flower displays.
Red Squirrel Trail – A scenic cycle path & walking route that takes you along a flat, car-free path through countryside.
Small Hope Beach – This small, unspoilt sandy beach has picturesque beach huts & cafes along the Revetment.

In addition to this there are a wonderful selection of bars, restaurants and family friendly activities such as crazy golf, ten-pin bowling and banana boat rides etc.

“This two bedroomed apartment was really wonderful, on a hill a short walk from the beach (5 mins). It looks over the small town of Shanklin, where there are shops and cafes to suit most needs, but also a short drive (or walk along the prom walk) to Sandown, or drive to Ventnor. The place is new, well furnished, with great facilities, and much more space than many holiday places - quite luxurious actually. Taking the ground floor apartment meant that my mum-in-law (with restricted mobility) had no problems at all. I would definitely recommend Ash.”
