Located near the sea on the northeast coast, just outside the country village of Whippingham, and surrounded by picturesque farmland and woods, our retreat is easily accessible for both weekend and weekly getaways. We are just a few miles from the Red Funnel and Wightlink ferry ports.
A stunning hand-built, larch-clad Treehouse, The Roost is both exciting and stylish. It comprises a Living house with a full kitchen, dining area and living room, and a separate Sleeping house with two bedrooms, a mezzanine bedroom and a bathroom. These are connected by a decking walkway and deck, set right in the trees, at the heart of nature.
This unique corral of Shepherd Huts forms a single unit. Each luxurious, hand-built oak-clad hut houses different rooms. You get all four huts exclusively. Two bedroom cabins with ensuite bathrooms and two more cabins conjoined to form a full kitchen, dining area and living room, all set around a secluded decking area with a NEW Hot Tub option!
A cosy little Treehouse perfect for romantic getaways. It features a living room with a full kitchen and bathroom, plus a cosy woodburner. Ladder stairs lead up to a mezzanine deck with a generous king-size bed. French doors open onto a private balcony with beautiful views over peaceful farmland.
Everything you need for your stay with us is provided, including bed linen, towels, shower gel, shampoos, kitchen basics, tea, coffee, logs, Wi-Fi, full electrics, BBQ, games room, paddock area, off-road parking and an electric car charging point.
Find yourself away from it all and at one with nature. Spot wildlife like red squirrels, rabbits, owls and woodpeckers.
Our games and chill-out area within the paddock includes table tennis, a selection of kids' outdoor games, sofa/daybeds, deckchairs and washing facilities. There are swings, rope ladders and a big paddock for the kids to play and let off steam.
We are only a short journey from the seaside town of Ryde. There are several beautiful beaches that are perfect for relaxing, sunbathing or building sandcastles. Guests are also encouraged to explore the miles of footpaths leading across the island where you can enjoy the breath taking views.
