As the tide ebbs and flows, receding up to 100 metres at low tide and rising to lap at the edge of the garden, it reveals a dynamic coastal landscape teeming with birdlife. The ever-changing scenery and quiet charm of the bay create a peaceful and immersive setting unlike any other.
Designed to the highest standards with couples in mind, Ptarmigan Cottage is the perfect place to relax, unwind and recharge. The cottage’s cosy lounge features a gas living-flame open fire, Bang & Olufsen TV and stereo system, a piano, giant binoculars for wildlife watching, mood lighting and even a tide clock to keep track of the bay’s rhythms.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and guests are welcomed with a generous hospitality pack. There is also a utility and drying room complete with a washing machine, tumble dryer and pulley, ideal for longer stays or those exploring the outdoors.
Upstairs, a spacious 7' x 7' Emperor bed with luxurious Egyptian cotton linen invites you to sink into comfort. Wake up to panoramic views across Broadford Bay and enjoy the sounds of your favourite music with a stereo system that connects to your own devices and even plays in the ensuite bathroom.
The bathroom itself is a sanctuary, featuring his and hers roll-top baths and washbasins, a large walk-in power shower, mood lighting, fluffy towels, soft bathrobes and hand-crafted Isle of Skye Soaps. The luxurious feel continues outside with a Swedish sauna and an outdoor bathtub with both hot and cold water, perfect for a peaceful soak while taking in the incredible views.
Outside, you'll find a well-equipped garden shed that includes a tandem bicycle with helmets, a selection of wellies and backpacks for outdoor adventures, a BBQ for al fresco dining and two luxurious sun loungers perfect for relaxing and soaking up the views.
