Braeside Cottage offers fantastic self catering accommodation in the small crofting village of Tarskavaig, nestled at the southern end of the Isle of Skye. Our cottage is set amidst stunning scenery, perfect for the ultimate getaway.

Accommodation

Our charming cottage has been recently refurbished to offer a true home from home. The cottage sleeps up to 6 people and comes with everything you need for a relaxing getaway.

A cosy sitting room comes with a coal fire, electric fire, TV with Freesat channels, a radio and CD player. This is a great spot to unwind after a day exploring the area. You can also relax in the delightful sun porch which comes with seating and overlooks the garden. Enjoy some home-cooking in the fully fitted kitchen which has a fridge freezer, washing machine, electric cooker and microwave oven.

Three beautiful bedrooms are available: two double rooms and one twin room. On the first floor, there is a bathroom with a shower over the bath, plus a ground floor shower room. All linen and towels are provided.

Outside there is an enclosed garden with a BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining on a warm, summer’s day.

Visiting Tarskavaig & Exploring the Isle of Skye

Tarskavaig is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland, including an abundance of wonderful wildlife. Climb the famous Cuillin Mountains or enjoy a less strenuous walk around Clan Donald Skye Gardens. Sample some Gaelic whiskies at the Hotel Eilean Iarmain or fish is one of the many lochs and rivers. Great attractions to visit include:

Dunvegan Castle.
Attadale Gardens.
Neist Point Lighthouse.
The Old Man of Storr.
The Brightwater Centre and Eilean Ban.
