Fiddler’s Retreat offers charming self catering accommodation in Ord on the Isle of Skye. We are in a truly amazing setting, boasting glorious views of the Cuillin mountains on the far shore of Loch Eishort. We are the perfect getaway for a couple or a family and there are several beautiful walks which start from the front door.

About Fiddlers’ Retreat

Our accommodation is one of ten individually owned chalets, set on the shore of Loch Eishort. The style resembles a traditional cottage, but with the wood lined interior you have the feel of a Scandinavian lodge. It is well appointed, with many thoughtful features, including a timber deck which is a sheltered suntrap.

Visiting Ord & Exploring The Isle of Skye

Ord is a great base for exploring the Sleat Peninsula. The area is brimming with fine scenery, walks and wildlife. The Isle of Skye has many beautiful attractions and places of interest that are well worth a visit during your stay. These includes:
