Summary

Loch Nevis Cottage offers outstanding self catering accommodation on a hillside overlooking the village of Ardvasar, boasting superb views across the sea to the Knoydart hills on the mainland. Our cottage is not far from The Skye Bridge and Mallaig/Armadale Ferry and are just a few minutes from Armadale Castle and the Gaelic College at Sabhal Mor Ostaig.

Accommodation

Our charming cottage is ideal for a magical holiday in a unique location, enjoying glorious views over the The Sound of Sleat to unrivalled views of the mountains.

Inside there is a cosy lounge, kitchen/diner, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. All the rooms have been tastefully decorated and have been furnished to a high standard. The small garden has a rotary dryer and a patio with garden furniture and a barbecue for al fresco dining when the sun is shining. There is parking for 2 cars.

The comfortable lounge has ample seating, an electric fire, TV with FreeSat and radio/CD player. The kitchen/diner has a washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge freezer, microwave, cooker etc. The double and twin bedrooms have fitted mirrored wardrobes, drawer units and bedside cabinets. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, WC and wash hand basin.

Visiting Ardvasar & Exploring the Isle of Skye

This part of the country has so much to do and see, including experiencing the amazing natural landscape. Nearby there are beaches, striking mountains and atmospheric forest walks. You can stroll along Armadale Pier where the ferry leaves for Mallaig or head over the hill to Ord and Tokavaig which offers amazing scenery and magnificent views of the Cullin Hills. Excellent attractions to visit include:
