Croft Holidays is situated 0.5 miles from Newtonmore in Inverness-shire. The main thing our guests comment on is the views of the Cairngorm Mountains, which can be seen from the garden.

We are located above the village so these can be enjoyed in peace and quiet. In the foreground are sheep and lambs, as we are in a crofting area, together with lapwings, curlews, oystercatchers and hares. Our guests find the holiday cottages well equipped, warm and comfortable.

We have 3-holiday cottages which each sleep 1-4 people; these can be booked individually or together for groups of up to 10 people. The layout is different in each, one has a double bedroom, one a family room with kingsize and single beds and one twin beds.

Each self catering cottage has a shower room/ toilet, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. There is shared use of a washing machine and drying room. Free Wi-fi (25 Mbs) is available. We accept bookings from 3 to 28 days, with monthly rates if you are “working from home” here.

Newtonmore is located 5 miles from the geographical centre of Scotland. It therefore makes an ideal base to tour the Highlands and islands. Guests often make trips to Inverness and loch Ness, Skye, and Fort William. The area is fabulous for outdoor activities including walking, cycling, skiing, sailing, fishing and lots more.

Newtonmore is a traditional highland village with a long and colourful history: visitors can learn more at the Highland folk museum or Clan Macpherson museums located in the village.

There is also annual highland games and clan gathering in August as well as weekly shinty matches.
