Accommodation

The cottages at Corrour blend traditional features with modern comforts. They are based in remote settings amongst the lochs and hills and are a sought through destination by nature lovers, walking groups, and families alike.

Corrie Odhar

Our newest and largest cottage sleeps up to 11 adults in 5 spacious bedrooms and is perfect for larger groups. Two bedrooms are set as super king-size doubles, two as twins, and one room is set with three single beds. There are three bathrooms and a separate utility room. A well-equipped kitchen/dinner can seat 12-14 guests and the spacious living room has a wood-burning stove, ideal for those cosy winter nights.

This cottage offers very comfortable accommodation with views over Loch Ossian and Corrour forest. The beautiful Victorian rhododendron collection is just a short walk away, and optional extras like a wood-fired sauna cabin, canoes, fishing, or clay-pigeon shooting are available from the doorstep. There are two further cottages located within a short walking distance from Corrie Odhar, and all three are open all year round. (4x4 vehicles require for access during the winter).

Sgor Ghaibre

This traditional cottage offers accommodation for up to 7 adults in 3 large bedrooms. Dating back to 1861, it features original pine-clad walls and wooden flooring beautifully restored to current modern standards. The bedrooms are spacious enough for extra children’s camp beds and are set as 1 super king-size double downstairs, and upstairs is 1 twin and 1 room with three-single beds. There are 2 shared bathrooms in this property, one featuring a roll-top bath.

This lovely and spacious cottage features a separate dining room with seating for 10-12 people. The guests can unwind in the cosy sitting room in front of the wood-burning stove. Sgor Ghaibre is semi-detached, forming part of the Corrie Creagach complex of estate buildings in the heart of the estate, a short walk from the banks of Loch Ossian.

The Doll’s House

The smallest of Corrour cottages, this dinky house sleeps up to 3 people in 2 bedrooms. It is one of the original estate buildings that have been carefully restored, nested in the walled garden, where you can see chickens roaming around. The larger bedroom has a double bed, the smaller bedroom is set with a single bed. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower over. Near the front entry, there is a small burn running by and the upstairs bedrooms are both looking onto beautiful Loch Ossian and Corrour Forest- this is an ideal walking and relaxing retreat!

Corrour has recently undergone an ambitious program of sustainability improvements across all of its’ built properties, and from early 2022, all buildings on the estate are powered and heated by on-site produced hydroelectricity.

There are lots of activities to be enjoyed at Corrour, including walking/hiking, wildlife watching, fishing, boating, canoeing, and wild swimming, in addition to the paid activities.
