An Tochailt Lodge offers stunning self catering accommodation in Dalwhinnie, Inverness-shire. Situated in a breathtaking lochside setting, we are ideal for a memorable breakaway.

Our magical little castle offers tranquil and relaxing accommodation on the edge of Cairngorms National Park. The castle boasts glorious views of the loch and mountains.

Our lodge is beautifully furnished and on the ground floor, there is a drawing room with an open fire and French doors towards the loch. The small sitting room is perfect for relaxing in and the dining room also has an open fire. A fully equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances to suit all your needs: gas cooker with electric oven, table & chairs, dishwasher and a washing machine/tumble dryer.

On the first floor, there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. A lavish bathroom comes with a bath, WC, WHB and a larger shower. The twin room comes with en suite facilities. The tower has a further twin room with a luxurious private bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Helicopter landing facilities are available for use by guests with prior arrangement. Fishing for brown trout in the Loch is included in the rental. Stalking and shooting are available by arrangement.

The surrounding area has some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. The mountain Ben Alder is on our doorstep and only a short distance away. Guests staying at our lodge are welcome to fish on Loch Ericht and Loch Rannoch from the bank. Both lochs have a good wild stock of Brown trout. Loch Morlich Watersports offers a range of activities, including watersports, walking, mountain biking and fishing. A variety of excellent attractions/activities are in the local area:
