Alvie Estate has traditional properties located amongst farm fields & woodlands with superb views of the Cairngorm mountains. Located only 4 miles south of Aviemore, Alvie can provide peace & quiet or an unsurpassed opportunity for recreation & entertainment. Alvie Estate has been the home of the Williamson family since 1927; The property is a traditional highland estate including farming, forestry, field sports & tourism.

All of our properties have Wi-Fi and we welcome up to two dogs per property. Linen is provided in all of the accommodation, and towels can be requested at an additional cost.

This Semi detached Victorian cottage boasts breath-taking views overlooking the farm fields and woodlands of Alvie and over to the Cairngorm Mountains. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms (double & twin) with a bathroom. Downstairs the spacious kitchen/ diner is fully equipped including a dishwasher & washer/dryer. The living room includes a multi-fuel stove with the first bag of logs included.

Easter Delfour Farmhouse is a picturesque Victorian farm cottage. It has views over the fields and woodlands of Alvie to the glorious Cairngorm Mountains beyond. It can accommodate 4 people in a double and twin bedroom with one shared bathroom. There is a well-equipped kitchen, dining room and cosy living room.

Park Cottage features a secluded, enclosed garden surrounded by fields and immediate access to the hill behind the house. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms (1 Double & 2 Twin Rooms) and one bathroom. Downstairs, living room with open fire, pine-lined Dining Room, fully equipped Kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine/tumble dryer and drying room.

North Wing, once known as the Winter Quarters, is a self catering apartment connected to Alvie House. Upstairs are 5 bedrooms, (double, 2 twins & 2 singles) plus 2 bathrooms. Downstairs is a large kitchen with breakfast area, separate dining room and large living room with open fire. There is also an additional WC on the ground floor.

The best views in the house, south-facing, overlooking Loch Bourne towards the Cairngorms and Glenfeshie. This apartment is on the top floor of Alvie House and has 5 twin bedrooms, drawing room with open fire, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher and 2 bathrooms.

For North Wing & Top Flat there are laundry facilities available in the basement of Alvie House.

Alvie’s self-catering holiday cottages are full of character and the perfect base for exploring the Scottish Highlands.

There’s lots to do on the estate including horse riding, quad biking, zip lines, archery, fishing and clay pigeon shooting, or head out into the mountains and make the most of the great outdoors. Alvie Estate is just 5 miles from Aviemore and 35 miles from Inverness.
