A newly fitted kitchen is great for home-cooking and includes a full-sized fridge freezer, integrated oven and electric hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, kettle and iron. A lovely lounge is great for unwinding in after a day of sightseeing and includes a toasty wood burner, a TV with Amazon Prime and Netflix, plus a Bluetooth speaker. A generous-sized dining area seats 6 and has patio doors that open onto the garden.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms, including a super king-size room, a smaller double room and a top-floor twin bedroom with two Velux windows that offers views of the forest. All the rooms come with luxury bedding. The rooms share a good-sized bathroom with a power shower over the bath.
Outside there is a fully enclosed garden with garden furniture for al fresco dining, plus a large shed for bikes. You can also unwind on the sun loungers in the afternoon sun.
Lyndhurst is a charming village to explore, with something for everyone. The village has a great range of tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and independent shops. The area also has lots of walking and cycling trails, plus acres of unspoiled ancient woodland. You can visit the New Forest Centre which houses the New Forest Museum, Gift Shop, Reference Library and Visitor Information Centre. Attractions to visit include:
