The cottage has been beautifully furnished and sleeps up to 4 people. This is ideal for a family break away.
The spacious kitchen/diner comes with a ceramic hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/tumble drier as well as a microwave. There is also an iPod dock for a little background music whilst cooking or eating. Tea towels, oven gloves, dishcloths, washing up liquid and kitchen towels are all provided. A large dining table has seating for up to 4 people. A lounge area is ideal for relaxing in after a busy day exploring the local area. Facilities include an electric log burner, TV with Freeview and DVD player. Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms. One comes with an en suite bathroom and the other comes with an en suite shower room. The bedrooms can be arranged as 4 singles, king size or super king size beds. All the bedrooms come with luxurious Egyptian cotton towels.
Outside there is an enclosed garden area with seating. An ideal place for a spot of al fresco dining.
The cottage is only a 5 minute walk to Lyndhurst village. You can take a trip to the New Forest Centre. Here you will find a wealth of information about the special history of the area. You can hire bike from The Woods Cyclery or AA Bike Hire (or bring your own along) and cycle some of the fantastic bike routes that start from Lyndhurst. Cycle the 8 miles to Hatchet Pond or enjoy the longer Lyndhurst to Burley route passing through the forest at Bolderwood. Lots of attractions are nearby, including:
New Forest Heritage Centre Museum.
Bolton's Bench.
New Forest Reptile Centre.
Paultons Park.
Testwood Lake.
