The ground floor houses three reception rooms one of which has a double sofa bed with an adjacent bathroom, ideal for the frailer members of the group. The atmospheric lounge has a wood burner, satellite TV, DVD player and music system, while the old world dining room with its barrel vaulted ceiling sings of days gone by and accommodates everyone round the table. There's an additional dining table in the adjacent kitchen if you want to feed the kids separately.
On site, there's plenty to keep everybody amused: a games room with table tennis, pool, table football and more; a hot tub to unwind in after a day's walking, canoeing or cycling in the Forest of Dean; a barbecue area and plenty of outdoor seating where you can chill and enjoy the sound of birdsong from the surrounding woodland.
