May Cottage offers self-catering accommodation in Stow-on-the-Wold. It is adjacent to one of Stow’s most attractive Georgian houses in Gloucestershire. Set back from the road in landscaped gardens, the stone cottage offers luxurious accommodation in The Cotswolds.
May Cottage sleeps up to 4 people in a beautiful property.
The cottage has lovely arched Gothic windows which let in the light. The listed building is equipped to a very high standard, with attractive antiques in the large living room and Spode in the limed oak kitchen.
The tastefully renovated property has been tastefully furnished and is all on one level. The cottage consists of an outer hall, inner hall, and kitchen with Italian travertine floors and a large living room. Facilities in the living room include a marble fireplace, for which logs are provided, 32-inch flat-screen TV, DVD player and mini Hi-Fi with CD player. French doors lead to a patio area at the back.
Leading from the living room is a glass door to a heated conservatory with travertine floor and double doors to a large master bedroom with a king-sized bed, silk curtains and new furniture. The en suite bathroom has underfloor heating, a separate bath and walk-in shower. The second bedroom also has separate but direct access to the bathroom has twin beds and fitted furniture. All are newly decorated, very light and peaceful, and warmed by central heating.
Outside there are gardens to front and side, with a private BBQ area towards the back. The living room and conservatory open, onto a private patio with table and chairs, enclosed by pretty Cotswold walls. There is parking for two cars and the cottage is very quiet.
There are discounts for couples over 65 booking for one week and discounts for anyone booking for a second or third week.
