Gwynant House in Caerphilly offers self catering accommodation based in a lovely part of Glamorgan, we are the perfect base for exploring the local area and only a 15 minutes train ride to Cardiff city Centre.
Our refurbished property dates from the 1950s and comes with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The two-storey house includes parking and a garden to relax in when the sun is shining.
Our house has a contemporary open-plan kitchen/dining/living area. The kitchen is great for rustling up some delicious dishes and includes a dishwasher, washing machine and under-counter fridge and freezer. Unwind in the cosy lounge which has comfy sofas and a flat-screen TV.
Two bedrooms are available: 1 super king with an en suite bathroom and 1 triple room with an en suite shower room. The latter includes a double and single.
We also offer accommodation in our two self catering apartments, Van Mew and Van View. Each apartment includes a cosy open plan living area to unwind in after a day of sightseeing, 1 double and 1 twin room, plus a shared bathroom. Van Mew is a ground-floor apartment that sleeps 4 and Van View is a first-floor apartment that also sleeps 4 people. Please enquire for further details.
The town of Caerphilly is a great town to explore, with Caerphilly Castle and the shops only 400 metres from us. The castle is the second largest castle in Europe and home to a moat and leaning tower. Fforest Fawr has scenic woodland land walks to enjoy and Gareth hill offers hiking trails. Take a day trip to Cardiff and browse the shops. Attractions to visit include:
