Accommodation

Our 5 star rated accommodation is ideal for families or friends looking for somewhere special to stay. Our luxurious property sleeps up to 12 people plus 1 and offers high quality accommodation.

This ground floor living room is a beautiful space to relax in. Facilities include a luxurious corner sofa, bespoke dining table, 40’’ smart TV, DVD player and Hi-Fi. Glazed doors open onto a delightful inner courtyard area. The quirky dining room (with slate flooring and underfloor heating) comes with a handmade birch-ply bespoke dining table and benches. A modern kitchen comes with a stainless steel 6 burner gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dish washer and built in drawer fridge. There is a table tennis table and football table for rainy days.

Three bedrooms are available. Bedroom 1 has the option of twin or king size bed and each room has 2 full size fold down bunk beds. Bedroom 2 has the option of twin or king size beds. Each room has 2 full size fold down bunk beds. Bedroom 3 is the largest room and has the option of a twin or king size bed. Each room has 2 full size fold down bunk beds and an optional sofa bed if required. The rooms come with en suite facilities: a power shower, heated towel rail and shaving point. The rooms have doors leading to a lovely rear courtyard.

A drying room and secure storage space for bikes are available.

Outside there is an internal and external courtyard. The former is a wonderful courtyard with a slate patio and AstroTurf lawn. The latter is a gravel rear courtyard with 2 large picnic tables, bench seating and coal BBQ. An ideal place for a spot of al fresco dining.

Visiting Cwmavon & Exploring Glamorgan

We are the ideal base for exploring the Afan Valley, South Wales, the Brecon Beacons, the Black Mountains and the Gower Peninsula. Situated in the world famous Afan Valley, Depot Rd is a Mecca for Mountain biking enthusiasts. Afan Argoed has and is undergoing a multi million pound upgrade, with new trails designed and built by Cognation’s Rowan Sorrell, these are proving incredibly popular for all levels and ages. It is also a great place for families to get together, there is a COOP in the village and several great pubs within walking distance with home cooked meals. Lots of attractions are nearby, including:

Margam Country Park.
Margam Castle.
Go Ape Margam.
Afan Forest Mountain Bike Trails.
Swansea and the Mumbles to the West.
Cardiff to the East.
Numerous beautiful beaches.
Brecon Beacons within 1 hour.
