The Old Stable sleeps up to 4 people. It has use of a shared courtyard and garden.There is an open plan kitchen and living area. The well-equipped kitchen comes with a gas hob, electric oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, breakfast bar, separate freezer and portable phone. The living room contains two comfortable sofas, (one converts into a double bed), Sky TV, a DVD/Blu Ray player and Wi-Fi.
Bedrooms consist of 1 double and 1 twin with full-size bunk beds. Each room has a wardrobe and chest of drawers with bedside tables, lamps and radio alarm clocks. The bathroom has a shower and a full-size bath.
The adjoining porch allows for extra storage space for coats, shoes/boots, bikes etc. Full central heating throughout.
A shared garden and courtyard area comes with a patio and gas barbecue. Secure parking is available.

The self-catering properties are ideal for visiting the County Cricket ground at the Riverside. Lumley Castle is a very picturesque and popular venue for weddings. Beamish Museum is only three miles away by road and many of our visitors come to see this wonderful attraction.We are on the main bus route between Durham and Newcastle. The former offers historic views and walks around the cathedral, castle, market place and river. The latter has Eldon Square, many buildings of architectural interest, the Quayside, the Baltic Art Gallery and the Millennium Bridge. We are 0.5 miles from Chester-Le-Street rail station.
