About Blindbeck
The cottage is of a high standard with traditional exposed oak beams and is full of character and charm with views overlooking Pen-y-Ghent. The cottage consists of a kitchen with dining area, living, dining room, downstairs shower and toilet. The upstairs of the cottage consists of 3 bedrooms (2 double and 1 single) and bathroom. The well equipped kitchen includes an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, iron, toaster and a spin dryer. Bed linen, towels, heating toilet rolls, tea towel, washing up liquid are included in the rent of the cottage. Located next door to the popular Blindbeck Holiday Cottage, the tea room has been providing delicious hot and cold refreshments to passers by for over 25 years. With a free car park and brilliant views of the Yorkshire Dales Countryside, many holiday makers make a point of visiting Blindbeck tea room whenever passing through Horton-in-Ribblesdale. The tea room is also very popular with walkers, many of whom enjoy a bite to eat and a drink before venturing out to walk the famous Yorkshire 3 Peaks route! As well as providing refreshments, we also sell a selection of home made Jams, Fudges and Cakes; as well as Dales souvenirs including pictures, postcards, artificial flowers and linen table cloths.Based on the B6479 road and a short walk from the local train station (on the Settle-Carlisle), Blindbeck offers excellent access to all the attractions the Yorkshire Dales has to offer, including the famous Three Peaks, the Settle-Carlisle railway and the market towns of Settle and Skipton.
