The Coach House

Summary

The Coach House is a south facing rustic self catering stone cottage just outside the Pembrokeshire village of Dinas Cross, nestled within the 70 acre coastal farm of Fynnonofi. The cottage is part of several farm buildings at the end of a private track so guests are well away from any main road. Guests have easy access to the coastal path and are minutes from the farm beach, Cwm Gwyllog.

Accommodation

The cottage is perfect for a tranquil coastal getaway in a glorious location. Inside you’ll find old Welsh blankets, local slate sills, wooden oak beams and mid century furnishings. We have our own spring water and use green energy which you pay for via an eco metre. We welcome diversity.

We are trying to make the farm as environmentally friendly as possible. We encourage guests to minimise their use of non recyclable plastic, recycle and buy local where possible. Our water is beautiful spring water so no need to buy bottled water.

The cottage is great for couples and has a double en suite bedroom, plus a single bed/dressing room off it. Downstairs there is a spacious bathroom.

Unwind in the large open living/dining space which has a cosy sitting area around a wood burning stove. There is TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi. The kitchen is well equipped with Basalt work surface and Smeg stove. We provide eco washing up liquid, toilet paper, tea towels, paper kitchen towels and cleaning materials. Please note that ALL our cleaning products are eco friendly. The holiday cottage also benefits from having a utility room with washing machine and drying area.

Visiting Dinas Cross & Exploring Pembrokeshire

We are ideally placed for walking, cycling and visiting the sites of North Pembrokeshire. We are a 10-minute walk to the local pub. Newport is a lovely town with weekly market, pubs, restaurants and cafes just 3 miles North.
