Balnagowan Mill offers fantastic self catering accommodation in a secluded setting at Nethy Bridge in the Cairngorms National Park. We are within easy reach of the Moray Coast, Royal Deeside and the Cairngorms, making us a great base for exploring Inverness-shire.

Accommodation

Set in extensive grounds with children's swings and a good range of outdoor play equipment, you can be sure to enjoy a relaxing and refreshing break. Here at Balnagowan Mill, we take pride in providing high quality and homely self-catering holiday accommodation.

Our comfortable cottage has five bedrooms (3 en suite) sleeping up to 10 and is well furnished with a personal touch. The cottage is fully double glazed and well insulated throughout with central heating. The cottage is surrounded by woodlands and is close to the River Nethy and the Speyside Way where many low-level walks and bike trails can be enjoyed. Guests have free use of mountain bikes. We also welcome well-behaved dogs.

The cottage offers all the amenities you would expect from high-quality self-catering holiday accommodation. These include comfortable bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and a utility room with a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, cooker and fridge freezers. There is a modern bathroom with a bath and a walk-in shower. Our cosy and open plan lounge/dining area and separate family room are complete with high-speed broadband, large TV with Sky, and PlayStation.

Visiting Nethy Bridge & Exploring Inverness-shire

The cottage is within the popular forest village of Nethy Bridge where there is an extensive network of walks and cycle routes to enjoy the rich and varied wildlife. We are also within easy reach of Aviemore (12miles) and Grantown (5 miles), Cairngorm Mountain (14 miles). The area has a wide range of things to see and do including the steam railway, Landmark Forest Adventure Park, RSBP Loch Garten Ospreys, beaches (Nairn/Findhorn/Loch Morlich), local golf courses, Inverness & Loch Ness and the famous Whisky Trail.
