It is two and a half miles to Ambleside and the local pub for restaurant and bar meals is just 400 yards away. There are lowland and fell walks from the door.

It is tastefully furnished and superbly equipped and is quietly situated well away from the road, with a pleasant outlook over fields and Loughrigg Fell beyond.The dining/kitchen is fully fitted and the cosy sitting room has an open fire. There are two pretty bedrooms - one double and one twin - with pine furniture and co-ordinated bed linen and curtains. The bathroom is spacious - bath with electric shower over.
Facilities included: Automatic washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric cooker, satellite TV, DVD player, CD player, payphone, patio with garden furniture, barbecue and parking for 2 cars.
