Dolphin Cottage is a charming pink, thatched holiday cottage set right on the seafront in the historic Dorset town of Lyme Regis. Its private terrace and most rooms offer sweeping, uninterrupted views across the water, creating a constant connection to the coast. With the beach just a few steps from the door, guests can effortlessly enjoy the sights and sounds of the sea from morning through to sunset.
Spend your mornings watching the waves from the terrace, relax in the first-floor lounge with its inviting bay window seat and drift off to sleep each night to the gentle rhythm of the sea. There is a a fully equipped kitchen and a dedicated dining room. The cottage accommodates up to four guests and features a master bedroom with an en-suite and sea views, a twin bedroom with partial sea views and a separate bathroom. A parking space is provided approximately 400 yards away, accessible via a mostly level walk.
Perfectly located for making the most of Lyme Regis, the cottage is just a short stroll from the shops along Broad Street, as well as the seafront where seasonal events and performances, such as Carnival and Lifeboat Week take place throughout the year. A great selection of pubs, cafés and restaurants are all within easy walking distance. Beyond the town, there’s plenty to explore, from the iconic Cobb and fossil-filled beaches to the wider Jurassic Coast. Nearby highlights include the picturesque village of Beer, the vibrant market town of Bridport, the breathtaking views from Golden Cap and family-friendly days out at Pecorama.
