Manhattan is a detached, privately owned holiday chalet at Riviere Towans in St Ives Bay, offering stunning sea views over Hayle Beach and comfortable self-catering accommodation for up to six guests. Just a five-minute walk from three miles of magnificent golden sands, the chalet enjoys panoramic coastal and countryside views, including Hayle Estuary nature reserve, boats sailing in and out of the harbour, the St Ives branch line train crossing the estuary and even St Michael’s Mount visible on the distant coastline on clear days.

The spacious lounge features a large picture window framing the breathtaking views, along with three sofas seating seven, a coffee table, Smart TV with Netflix, music centre with radio, CD and MP3 connection and secure WiFi. A separate dining room also enjoys views and includes a table and chairs, a corner unit stocked with board games and a selection of books. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size cooker and ceramic hob, fridge with small freezer, microwave, toaster, iron and ironing board, spin dryer, clothes horse and ample crockery, cutlery and cookware, with essential cleaning supplies provided. There is a shower room off of the kitchen. A small lobby with shoe rack leads to a separate toilet, generous storage, hooks and towel rails for six towels; please note £1 and £2 coins are required for the electric meter (normally around £10 per week).

There are three double bedrooms, all with sea views, wardrobes or hanging space, chests of drawers, mirrors including full-length mirrors, and blackout-lined curtains for a restful night’s sleep, with all bed linen included in the price.

Manhattan’s prime location means local amenities are close at hand, including the Bucket of Blood pub, the Bluff Inn (J.D Wetherspoons) and a convenience shop, while a short walk along the harbour leads to the main shops in Hayle. Hayle in Cornwall is a fantastic base for exploring the stunning coastline and attractions of St Ives Bay. Three miles of golden sand stretch along Hayle Beach, perfect for walking, sunbathing and water sports, while the nearby Hayle Estuary is a designated nature reserve ideal for birdwatching. Just a short drive away, the popular seaside town of St Ives offers charming streets, independent shops and the renowned Tate St Ives gallery. Visitors can also explore the iconic St Michael's Mount near Marazion, or enjoy scenic coastal walks along the South West Coast Path, making Hayle an ideal destination for a classic Cornish holiday. 4 minute drive to the A30 so we are in an ideal location for travelling around Cornwall.
