Red Kite Cottage is a charming pet friendly stone cottage situated on a hilltop, with breathtaking views over one of Shropshire’s most picturesque valleys. The sweeping panorama stretches from Wilstone Hill to Wenlock Edge, making it an ideal haven for walkers and nature lovers. Perfectly positioned on Route 4 of the Church Stretton circular walks and along Ippikins Way, the cottage boasts access to scenic footpaths right from the doorstep.

It is part of North Hill farm bed and breakfast so is also available for B and B. Breakfast can be booked if required by s/c guests.

Built in 2010, Red Kite Cottage blends modern comfort with rustic charm, providing a peaceful escape with complete privacy, especially perfect for tranquil holidays, including Christmas and New Year getaways.

The cottage features a king-size bed and a sofa bed, making it suitable for couples or small families. The spacious living area includes a large TV for relaxed evenings, while the fully equipped kitchen comes with a full cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster for all your culinary needs. The bathroom features a generous bath with an overhead shower, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring the hills.

A private, enclosed terrace faces Caer Caradoc, soaking up the sun throughout the day and into the evening, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine while taking in the views. The enclosed space is also ideal for guests with dogs or other pets; in fact, the cottage welcomes a pair of tortoises older than their owners! Convenient parking is available right next to the cottage, with walking trails accessible from the lane outside.

While it feels wonderfully secluded, Red Kite Cottage is centrally located for exploring Shropshire’s many attractions. The historic towns of Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Ironbridge are all within a 30-minute drive, offering a perfect mix of countryside tranquility and cultural exploration.
