The Accommodation
The Drawing Room features breathtaking vistas across Kerrera to Mull from its turret and French windows, which lead out to the deck and garden. With seating arrangements, including a charming window seat in the turret and an open fire for warmth in colder months, it's a quintessential spot for any social gathering.Located on the first floor, the Games Hall offers a spacious environment equipped with a TV and pool table, perfect for entertainment or relaxation while still feeling connected to the house. It's stocked with board games, puzzles, toys and books. It smartly separates the Jura and Islay bedrooms from the others, accommodating families with young children or teenagers effectively.
The TV Room, brightened by French windows that open to the garden, offers a laid-back contrast to the formal Drawing Room. It's outfitted with a large TV and plush sofas, ideal for enjoying movies, sports, or cartoons.
The kitchen and dining area form a large L-shaped space with dual kitchen zones, one fully equipped for cooking extensive meals and the other perfect for preparing drinks and snacks without disrupting the cooking space. Two islands offer great spots for socialising with the cook or enjoying a drink. The dining area can comfortably seat 14-16 guests, with flexible table arrangements.
Each of the seven bedrooms features super king-sized beds (six of which are zip link), bedside reading lamps and a private bathroom with underfloor heating and a rainfall shower; three bathrooms also include baths. Bathrooms are stocked with luxurious towels, bath mats and locally sourced toiletries. The bedrooms are designed for tranquility and rest, with deep mattresses, soft pillows, down duvets, fine bed linens, and thick curtains, complemented by individual decor styles and views of Ben Cruachan, Mull, Kerrera, and Oban Bay.
Outdoors, guests can enjoy a wood-fired BBQ (with wood provided) and a fire pit rack for extensive grilling. BBQ tools and durable glasses are readily available, with extra tables stored in the bothy.
