The Accommodation

Accommodating up to six guests, The Boathouse has been lovingly renovated, transforming the historic structure into a haven of comfort and charm. Its thoughtful design offers a myriad of spaces for relaxation and socialising, each brimming with character and warmth.

The expansive lounge area boasts a quiet reading nook, where one can lose themselves in panoramic views of the sea through a towering arched window. At the opposite end, a snug corner invites cosy evenings by the wood-burning stove, complete with SKY TV and a DVD player. Complimentary WiFi ensures connectivity throughout the property.

The spacious open-plan kitchen is equipped with modern amenities, including a Rangemaster double cooker and a fridge freezer with chilled water and ice dispenser. As you prepare a snack, you can watch the shoreline activity, before retiring to the sun-drenched conservatory with its magnificent oak dining table, a perfect setting for leisurely lunches.

The sleeping quarters offer a retreat of unparalleled comfort. The Greshornish Master bedroom, accessed via a handcrafted staircase and mezzanine balcony, boasts a super-size king bed, elegant furnishings and a luxurious en-suite bathroom with twin sinks and a roll-top bath. The Snizort twin room exudes tranquility, with its cosy ambiance and stunning views. Meanwhile, the Narvik double bedroom, situated in a separate wing of the house, offers a private sanctuary overlooking the shore, a serene space to unwind and embrace the soothing sounds of the waves.

The Area

Located in the picturesque north of Skye, just ten miles from the capital, Portree, The Boathouse provides a secluded escape within the confines of a private estate. Guests are free to explore miles of shoreline, immersing themselves in the natural beauty of this extraordinary place, a true gem amidst the rugged landscape of Scotland's beloved Isle of Skye.

Pets are welcome by strictly by arrangement due to the animals on our farm.
