Summary

White House offers fantastic self catering accommodation in the small village of Wensley near Matlock. We are based within a lovely area of Derbyshire and perfectly placed for exploring the Peak District National Park and lots of attractions.

Accommodation

Our cottage sleeps up to 4 people and is beautifully furnished throughout.

Inside we have a lounge to relax in after a day sightseeing. There is comfy seating and a feature fireplace with a wood burner. The light-filled dining/kitchen area comes well-equipped with a range of appliances: an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine.

On the first floor, we have two bedrooms, 1 double and 1 room with two single beds. Both rooms share a family bathroom.

Outside we have a courtyard area with a table and chairs for al fresco dining over a glass or two.

Visting Wensley & Exploring Derbyshire

Our cottage is perfect for walkers and cyclists, with lots of trails in the area. Visit the delightful town of Bakewell, home to cafes, restaurants and shops. Enjoy riding the tram at Crich Tramway village or visit Chatsworth House. Attractions to visit include:

Haddon Hall.
Heights of Abraham.
Gulliver's Kingdom.
Peak Rail.
Peak District Mining Museum.
