Barnstable Cottage in Shannochie provides fantastic self catering accommodation. We are nestled on the stunning Isle of Arran and boast sea views, perfect for a magical getaway.

Accommodation

Our cottage sleeps up to 6 people and offers glorious views of the island, including the Ayrshire coast, Ailsa Crag, Loch Ryan, Wigtownshire and across to Ireland.

Inside our cottage is a large sitting/dining room. You can also unwind in the sun lounge that comes with seating and open fire. The well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances.

Bedrooms include 2 upstairs twin rooms and 1 downstairs double room. There is space for a cot in the smaller lumber room. A bathroom has a separate shower cubicle.

Visting Shannochie & Exploring the Isle of Arran

We are ideally placed to explore the Isle of Arran. Hike up Goatbell and enjoy the wonderful views. Visit the Giant’s Grave at Whiting Bay or see the Standing Stone at Machrie. See the local wildlife or explore the Arran Coastal Way. Attractions to visit include:
